The 2026 Labor Day Francestown Five returns on Labor Day morning with something for everyone, a scenic 5 Mile Run, Tom Peters 5K Run, 5K Walk, and Kids Fun Run.

Whether you're chasing a personal best, enjoying a leisurely walk with friends, or introducing your children to their very first race, you'll find a welcoming community atmosphere in one of New Hampshire's most picturesque small towns.
This year's race marks the 108th Francestown Labor Day Celebration, making it one of the longest-running Labor Day traditions in the state. Spend the morning racing through the beautiful countryside, then stay to enjoy the parade, live music, community events, food, and everything that makes Francestown's Labor Day celebration so special.
Every registration helps support the Francestown Improvement & Historical Society (FIHS) and its mission of preserving Francestown's history while funding projects that enhance our community.

Online registration closes the day before the race.
Race Day Registration is available, but has caveats:
5 Mile, 5K Run, or 5K Walk: $30
Kids Fun Run: $15
To help our volunteers and ensure the smoothest race experience we strongly encourage registering online before race day. T-shirts are only guaranteed for those who register by Friday Aug 14, 2026. Day-of registrations may not be eligible for awards.

Monday, September 7, 2026
7:30 AM – Bib pickup and race-day registration opens
8:15 AM – 5 Mile Run starts
8:30 AM – 5K Walk begins
8:45 AM – 5K Run starts
9:30 AM – Kids Fun Run followed immediately by awards
Race Day Information
Bib pickup and race-day registration are located at the Francestown Old Meeting House.
Official timing and awards are provided for the 5 Mile and 5K events to those who register online before Sunday Sept 6.
Every participant receives a commemorative race T-shirt while supplies last. Register early to guarantee your preferred size.
Water and light refreshments will be available after the race.
