     95th Annual Labor Day Celebration!!!
             September 1 - September 3, 2012
Begun in 1918 as a Red Cross fundraiser during World War I, this special weekend brings people of all ages together for three days of unique and fun activities.  Francestown's Labor Day celebration is small town America at its best!  The weekend includes athletic competitions -- The Francestown Five Road Race, tennis and golf tournaments, Mud Volleyball (a must-see!), a Home Run Derby as well as reflections and celebrations at Sunday night's Vespers and special performances on Monday by the Village Cloggers, the Temple Band and much more!

The highlight of Labor Day is our themed parade featuring families and community groups who have created floats and humorous walking entries.    Take a look at some photos taken over the years below....
Funds raised during Labor Day Weekend allow F.I.H.S. to continue its mission - for the operation of the Historical Rooms, its educational programs and for numerous community improvement projects.
